Just returned from a fundraiser for Tom Perriello. Great economic message and a forward-thinking climate and energy message. He gets what’s going on in America. He gets the opioid crisis. He gets the gravity of the Great Recession and the weakness of our recovery. He gets the climate crisis. I was very impressed and I’ve been working on political campaigns since I was a sophomore in college. I’ve seen fire and I’ve seen rain. I think this one’s for real. He even mentioned weatherization, which has been a big part of my career for the past 2 years. Weatherization is great for economic development and public health in rural Virginia. Vote June 13!
