I’ve got this Winslow Homer print en route to me. I’ll be postering it in my cubicle in the new year. We have a reproduction of the painting at the farm house. I think my grandfather must have bought it. I like the depth of color. There is strength in both the storm and the trees. I like Homer’s Bahamanian “series” because they aren’t simply fantasy paradises. There is daily work in them. And some conflict. It’s a “real” paradise
