When I was a kid, my uncle told me about a play called Glengarry Glen Ross. I eventually came to love the movie adaptation, starring Alec Baldwin among others, which had a tagline: “Lie. Cheat. Steal. All in a day’s work.” I used to think it was a dark play. Now, the president-elect is a con man who feuds with Baldwin. It’s a realistic play, not a dark play.
