In our present predicament of White House inaction, it’s critical that counties and cities take the lead in addressing climate mitigation and adaptation.

This represents my first major work of climate journalism and it won’t be the last. I have much to study and much to learn. Next, I plan an article on the cultural costs of climate change–specifically the cost of sea level rise to our precious coastal historic and cultural resources.
